I grew up in Hackney, East London and have a Fine Art degree from Middlesex University. Subsequently, I developed my figurative practice through self directed study, attending local drawing classes, short courses and museums for a number of years. I consider my main teacher to be the artist John Lessore, having attended his anatomy and life drawing classes for three years of tuition.
My artistic interest lies mainly in the human figure, and I have worked extensively with performers from backgrounds in dance, theatre and mime.
Currently, I work in a studio in Islington, London, as an artist in residence in conjuction with Cubitt Education and St. Luke's Trust.
